Can I use my international driver’s license?

   Yes, valid driver’s licenses issued in your state or country are acceptable as well as international licenses.


What Insurance does Prestige offer?


    Customer has the option to purchase  Basic Collision With Deductible at a very resonable rate 0f $ 12.99 P / D , or  the worry free LDW (Loss Damage Waiver)   where there is no deductible for  $ 21.95 P / D . If you elect Basic Collision with Deductible, the deductible will be applied to your credit card (or in the event of cash, collected) at pick up. Make sure you have the credit card that you made the online reservation with when picking up vehicle. If you do not select one of the above ,Basic collision with deductible will be applied to rental. You can upgrade to LDW anytime before picking up vehicle.

What are your age requirements and fees for underage?

    Ages  25 and over there is no fee . Ages 21 to 24 there is additional fee. We do not rent to anyone under the age of 21.



Do you pick up and drop off customers?

   Yes , we have a pick up service and drop off customers for rentals. Depending on distance there could be an additional charge.


Will you deliver and pick up the vehicle other than the airports?

   Yes , we deliver and pick up vehicles. Depending on distance there could be a fee added. No fees for LRM / SDQ / PUJ airports .


Can we pick up and drop off at the airport?

   Yes , we deliver and pick up at the following airports: Santo Domingo (SDQ) La Romana (LRM) and Punta Cana (PUJ). On arrival we meet and greet when you exit baggage claim. On your departure we will arrange the drop off point at the airport where you will meet a Prestige employee and return vehicle. 


Do you deliver to Hotels / Resorts?

   Yes , we deliver to hotels / resorts but customer needs to be present to sign rental contract. License and Credit Card info has to be submitted either online / email / phone call before car is dispatched to customer location. Additional fees may apply depending on location.



What forms of payment do you accept?

  We accept all major Credit cards, Debit Cards and Cash . Valid credit card / debit card is required for all reservations even if customer is paying cash.


Can I use another person’s credit card for renting a vehicle?

   Yes, but the card holder must present himself with the customer and show an additional driver (with extra fee).


Does Prestige require a deposit?

   Yes, a deposit is required for security purposes. The deposit is held on a credit card or cash that will be released when the car is returned or in the event of damage after an estimate for repairs has been done. 


How much is the deposit?

   The deposit is based on the type of vehicle, usually from $ 300.00 to $ 1000.00.


What kind of cars do you have?

  Car’s – Compact, mid-size.

  SUV’s – Compact, mid-size, full size and luxury SUV

  VAN’s – 9 and 12 passengers


Do you have automatic or stick shift cars?

  All Prestige vehicles are automatic.


Do you have air conditioned cars?

  Yes, all our cars have air conditioning.


Do you rent cars by the hour?

  Do not.


Do you offer accessories with your rentals? 

 Accessories that can be rented with the vehicles. 1. car seats for children. 2. Wi-Fi 


Additional charges

Is there an additional charge for more than one driver?

Yes, additional charges apply when rental vehicle is driven by more than one person.


Is there an additional charge for fuel?

Fuel must be brought back the same way it was given to you. Fee will be applied to your CC if not full. For your convenience we have a prepaid fuel option available.


Is there an additional charge for underage?

Yes, it is only applies to customers who are 21-24 years old.

If I rent a vehicle for a month can I get a good price?

Yes, vehicles can be rented by the month and receive a special offer. Request a quote here :


Do you offer coupons?

Returning vehicles

If  we need to return a car when your office is closed , can we arrange to leave your vehicle at a predetermined drop off spot ?

Yes, as long as we know in advance to give you instructions on where to leave your vehicle. Additional charges may apply.


What is the benefit to pre-pay or make a deposit online?

  Not only does it guarantee you have a car when you arrive, but with the Pay Now special you receive  a 5% discount . When you book online with most companies without a deposit or prepaying you risk them overbooking and not having the availability of the car when you arrive.  A very bad way to start your vacation!


I made a reservation, but I did not receive the confirmation email.

Check your spam folder first and if not found please send an email to  and we will help you as soon as possible.


Can another Person Drive the car that I rented?

Of course, as long as this person is registered as an additional driver/ has a valid drivers license/ and is over 25. Additional fee is required.


Can I rent a car without a credit card?

  No, it is essential to have a credit card to guarantee the rental, this can be shared, half cash- half credit card. American Express, MasterCard and VISA are accepted as methods of payment. The credit card must guarantee the entire rental amount and deductible (if applicable). The client may at the end of the pay period pay in Pesos (RD $), Euros (EUR) or US Dollars (USD $) and the hold will be released on Credit card.


Can Prestige deliver our rental car to  another location other than the 3  airports listed ?

  Yes, additional charges will be applied.


What documents do I need to rent from Prestige?

  A valid Driver’s License and a Credit Card/debit card. If you are using a foreign driver’s license, you must present your passport. If you are using a credit card of another person, other than the driver, it is imperative that the owner of the credit card is present and will be listed as the additional driver.


Do I have to return the gas tank full?

You can return it full or use our pre-paid gas option. In the event you did not return it full and did not choose the pre-paid option you will be charged.
